2023 FALL FITNESS CLASS OFFERINGS:

AM OFFERINGS:
5:15am-6:05am
MONDAY: KNOCKOUT PLUS (Megan)
Join our cardio kickboxing class! ‘Knockout’ incorporates a variety of mixed martial art training exercises, including tires, sledgehammers, kettlebells and ladders for an action-packed full-body workout! Learn to use heavy bags, gloves and training mitts as you kick, punch, and block your way through a fun, yet challenging workout!
TUESDAY: SCULPTING WITH WEIGHTS (Mindy)
This workout class brings weight training and body sculpting to you in a group format. It challenges all of your major muscle groups by using the best sculpting exercises both in and out of the weightroom. We will be focusing on good form and quality movements using low reps with moderate/high weight loads.

THURSDAY: CYCLING (Sarah)
Cycling will get the heart pumping with an aerobic ride strength and endurance component associated with cycling. Spin your way through an intense training session on a stationary bike!
READY, SET, GET FIT (Melinda)

This class is designed for the individual who prefers to work at a lower intensity and/or is a beginner, older adult, or returning to exercise. Experience a variety of exercises with less stress on the body that will improve muscular strength, agility, balance and flexibility. Exercises will also focus on the mind/body connection to help maintain cognitive skills. Modifications will include non-impact chair based workouts.
To register for a fitness class, contact the HWC at (641)435-4611 or stop in during our open hours! Participants may register on the first day of class.
Fitness Classes are for all levels-modifications can be made to fit your needs!
