2021 WINTER FITNESS CLASS OFFERINGS:
8-WEEK SESSION: January 4th-February 25th
A.M. A LA CARTE 5:15am-6:05am
MONDAY: KICKBOXING (Megan)
Join our cardio kickboxing class for an action-packed full-body workout! Learn to use heavy bags, gloves and training mitts as you kick, punch, and block your way through a fun, yet challenging workout! (Participants must provide own boxing gloves or check out a pair for entire session)
TUESDAY: CYCLING (Leslie)
Cycling will get the heart pumping with an aerobic ride strength and endurance component associated with cycling. Spin your way through an intense training session on a stationary bike! (Class is limited to 8 participants!)
THURSDAY: SCULPTING WITH WEIGHTS (Kristi)
This addictive workout class brings weight training and body sculpting to you in a group format. It challenges all of your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises such as squats, presses, lifts and curls. We will be focusing on good form and functional, quality movements using high repetition movements with low weight loads. (Class is limited to 8 participants)
READY, SET, GET FIT (Leslie)
This class is designed for the individual who prefers to work at a lower intensity and/or is a beginner, older adult, or returning to exercise. Experience a variety of exercises with less stress on the body that will improve muscular strength, agility, balance and flexibility. Exercises will also focus on the mind/body connection to help maintain cognitive skills. Modifications will include non-impact chair based workouts.
POUND FITNESS (Ashley)
Become the music in this fun full-body workout combining cardio, conditioning, and strength training with pilates inspired moves. Using Ripstix®, POUND transforms drumming into an effective way of working out. This workout can be modified for men and women of all ages and abilities. **Participants will need to purchase a set of Ripstix, available at the HWC front desk.**
PICK YOUR POISON (Leslie)
This class allows you the freedom and flexibility to choose your own workout! Participants will be given the choice between different exercises to perform, based upon your desired intensity level. Equipment used will vary weekly.
1 day per week: Member: $20 Non-Member: $40
2 days per week: Member: $30 Non-Member: $60
3 days per week: Member: $35 Non-Member: $70
4 days per week: Member: $40 Non-Member: $80
Fitness class participants must be at least 14-years old.

Modifications can be made for all fitness levels in all classes.
