2024 WINTER FITNESS CLASS OFFERINGS:
January 3rd- March 31st
MONDAY: MYSTERY WORKOUT(Megan)
Be prepared for the unknown with this workout! Mystery workout offers a full-body, challenging workout with different equipment each week (TRX, Kickboxing, Stability Balls, Cycling, etc.).
TUESDAY: SCULPTING WITH WEIGHTS (Mindy)
This workout class brings weight training and body sculpting to you in a group format. It challenges all of your major muscle groups by using the best sculpting exercises both in and out of the weightroom. We will be focusing on good form and quality movements using low reps with moderate/high weight loads.
WEDNESDAY: TRX (Mindy)
TRX is a total-body fitness program that leverages gravity and your own body weight to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. You’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise as you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance. Additional exercises may be inserted into the class between TRX sets.
5:30-6:15AM
THURSDAY: CYCLING (Sarah)
Cycling will get the heart pumping with an aerobic ride strength and endurance component associated with cycling. Spin your way through an intense training session on a stationary bike!
READY, SET, GET FIT (Makenzie)
MW@ 6am-6:35am
This class is designed for the individual who prefers to work at a lower intensity and/or is a beginner, older adult, or returning to exercise. Experience a variety of exercises with less stress on the body that will improve muscular strength, agility, balance and flexibility. Exercises will also focus on the mind/body connection to help maintain cognitive skills. Modifications will include non-impact chair based workouts.
To register for a fitness class, contact the HWC at (641)435-4611 or stop in during our open hours! Participants may register on the first day of class.
Fitness Classes are for all levels-modifications can be made to fit your needs!
CLASS FEES: 12 WEEK SESSION
1 day per week: Member: FREE Non-Member: $60
2 days per week: Member: FREE Non-Member: $90
3 days per week: Member: FREE Non-Member: $120
